BIPOC Intern-Partnership Lease 1/2 Acre Corbett,Oregon

Description

KwaSha Enterprise is excited to announce a unique and empowering opportunity for two market farmers, to join our Land Market Intern-Partnership program. This initiative is designed for individuals who are passionate about sustainable farming and are eager to develop their skills and market presence.

About the Program

Selected farmers will be granted access to a half-acre of land where they can apply and refine their farming techniques over the course of a five-year lease. This isn’t just an internship; it’s a comprehensive partnership that includes hands-on training, mentorship, and the resources needed to help farmers build or enhance their marketability. The goal is to cultivate not only the land but also the skills and networks necessary for long-term success in the agricultural industry.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this partnership opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

– Experience: A minimum of two farming seasons is required, along with at least one year of experience in marketing agricultural products.

– Commitment: This is a long-term opportunity that extends beyond the initial five-year lease, with possibilities for land holding on extended terms, ongoing education, and continued market development.

Program Benefits

1. Land Access: Participants will receive access to a half-acre of land to farm for the duration of the five-year lease.

2. Training and Mentorship: Receive in-depth training aimed at enhancing your farming techniques and marketability. This includes mentorship from experienced farmers and experts in the field.

3. Network and Cooperative Opportunities: Join a farmer network co-op that supports collaborative efforts, resource sharing, and joint-market ventures.

4. Long-Term Growth: The partnership is structured to offer opportunities for extended land holding, continuous education, and further market development. This is an ideal platform for farmers looking to establish themselves in the agricultural industry.

Priority Consideration

KwaSha Enterprise is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in agriculture. Therefore, priority will be given to Moorish American, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and veterans who apply for this partnership. This reflects our dedication to supporting underrepresented communities in the farming sector.

Application Process

Interested candidates who meet the above criteria are encouraged to apply for this partnership opportunity. Details on how to apply, including submission deadlines and required documents, will be provided upon request.

Again, this is more than just an internship—it’s a chance to secure a future in farming, with the support and resources needed to succeed in a competitive market. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to grow your skills, your business, and your impact in the community.
