5 acre dairy goat farm looking to trade RV/tiny house space for farm work

Description

We have a small hobby farm that we’d like to turn into a working farm. We have space to park a tiny house, RV, trailer, tent, etc for someone interested in working in exchange for rent. We’d like approximately 30 hours of work a month in exchange for the space. We’d really prefer to find someone who has dairy experience. We currently have a small herd of dairy goats and are working on creating a small raw milk business, looking to move into cheesemaking down the road. There are also a couple of horses and a chicken flock on the property. Daily chores include feeding, watering, cleaning pens and stalls and milking the goats. These chores would be shared. On a weekly basis we’d be asking for morning or evening feedings a couple times a week, with a couple morning milkings. We’d also ask for the availability to care for the farm full time a few days a month. Pluses include: experience with horses, other gardening/farming experience, handyman/carpentry skills. Right now we only sell milk and eggs but are looking to revitalize an old orchard on the property, add berries, bees, tea bushes, herbs, lavender, garlic, potatoes…

About 45 minutes SE of Portland (without traffic)
