1/2 Acre in NE Portland (Cully) – Open to any ideas


I have recently purchased and acre of land in Cully (NE 50th and Killingsworth) that is quite fertile and already growing cherries, pears, apples, and vegetables. I am spending most of my time and resources on restoring the small house on the property, and I’m open to finding a partner to lease and set up their own garden. The land gets lots of sun, has parking, has a chicken coop and goat pen, has running water and electricity.

This is my first time using OFL so I’m leaving a small post here to see if this is of any interest to anyone. I have plenty of pictures and will welcome visitors once we have talked.

Please note that in the photos you see a van and trailer, these have been removed. There is also a small barn w/ covered open area.

Owner’s Short Term Vision for the Property

I'd love to see this premium location land put to good use. I am connected to the Sideyard PDX via a bike trail and streets, Cully has many awesome neighborhood farming efforts going on but I do not have the time or skills to make the most of this property.

Owner’s Long Term Vision for the Property

I would love to be a contributing member of the in-Portland community/organic farming community. I am reviewing proposals to make this land and it's resources sustainable and valued by neighbors and groups.

Very small garden, several fruit trees, mostly as a lawn

Standard garden hoses on public water utility.

Soil Type / Quality

TBD, when I bought the house they did preliminary tests to determine that the soil was not tainted with any chemicals.
