Job Summary
Depending on the day of the week, the delivery driver completes deliveries in town for wholesale customers, CSA sites, or both. The delivery driver
1) is responsible for the accuracy of the invoices and checking the contents of the truck;
2) plans an efficient route for the day and delivers to each site per that site’s expectations;
3) interacts with other people with courtesy and professionalism;
4) drives in a manner that ensures the safety of people, property, and the truck contents;
5) unloads the truck at the end of a route, making note of any maintenance concerns.
Reports to
Daily communication with Wholesale Fulfillment and/or Crew Lead 2 as necessary
Weekly check-ins with Farm Co-owner

Hours
Full-time – Part-time possible, but must have Friday availability
M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM in spring and fall, with an adjustable start time of as early at 7 AM during peak season (June-September)

About you (Minimum Qualifications):
– You are a hard working, reliable, clear headed, and kind individual
– You enjoy working on a small team but can work independently away from the farm for a half day or full day – excellent planning skills, communication with farm co-owners, and dependability
– You have experience in organic produce farming or related fields such as landscaping or food industry– at least one season of equivalent experience to be considered for this position
– You are able to lift and carry 50 lbs
– You are able to repeatedly lift and carry 20-40 lb loads
– You are comfortable working in mud, rain, and temperatures below 35 degrees and above 90 degrees
– You are open to feedback and will ask questions if clarification is needed
– You have an interest in healthy food, teamwork, and outdoor work
– You are able to commit to the time frame of the position

Further Responsibilities:
– Basic Field Work – All employees share in the primary farm tasks listed below.
– Harvest, wash, and pack produce
– Cultivate crops and weed beds
– Transplant vegetable starts
